the questions below to see if your answer is already there. It saves you time
and us as well. If you can't find the answer to your questions there, give us

Question: How do I get broadband access from you?
Answer: Give us a call. If you are in our service area, we'll schedule an installation visit.
Check the area map for reference.
Question: What do you do when you get here?
Answer: The first thing we do during an installation is testing. This generally involves climbing
onto your roof and seeing if we can get an adequate signal to offer you service. If we find a good signal,
we will install a radio (signal receiver and transmitter), run a wire from the radio into your home or
place of business, install a router, and then configure your computer to work with our system before we
leave.

Question: I woke up this morning and I can't get online. What should I do?
Answer: Unplug the power to your radio (usually at the white box with a light) for 5 minutes and
then plug it in. Now try to get online. If not, unplug the power to your router for 5 minutes and plug it
in again. Now try to get online. If neither of those works, give us a call (218-741-4650) and we'll
try to solve the problem from our end or schedule a service call.

Question: I want to connect another computer to my existing service, how do I do that?
Answer: If it is a desktop with an Ethernet connection (looks like a large phone jack) then all
you need to do is run an Ethernet cable from the router to the computer. These cables are available
either at a local retailer, or we can custom make a cable to your exact specs. If you are trying to
connect via wireless to the router, then give us a call and someone in tech support should be able
to assist you.

Question: I want to get an Access Broadband email address, what do I do?
Answer: Well with your basic residential service, you get 3 email addresses with your
connection. To set these up, call us at the office (741-4650) and the guys in tech support would
be more than happy to create an email address on our system and help you set it up on your home
computer using Outlook Express, Outlook, Windows Mail, or just about any other email program
that you may have. We also have a web login so that you can check your email when you are away
from home. You can access it from our main page at www.accessmn.com.

Question: I want to use a VoIP service with my broadband connection. Can I do this?
Answer: Well, yes you can. This service is not something that we support, but it can be done.
Back to the Questions!
Question: My speed is slow. What can I do?
Answer: First thing would be to reboot all of your equipment. First reboot the radio, then your
router. If this doesn't clear up the speed issue then call tech support and we will be more than happy
to see what we can do.
